Welcome to Accelerate Physiotherapy.
At Accelerate Physiotherapy, we pride ourselves on working together with our patients as they progress toward their individual health goals.
We use various physiotherapy techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling and individualised rehabilitation plans to achieve these goals.
We also educate our patients to help prevent further injuries.
Located in Garran & Jamison, we offer modern, purpose-built facilities which include private, individual treatment rooms and specifically designed gyms.
Sessions are by appointment only as our time is dedicated to your care.
No referral is required.

Will graduated from the University of Sydney in 2006 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). He completed his graduate rotation program at The Canberra Hospital in 2007 and has been working in private practice since. In 2011, he underwent his Masters of Manual Therapy at the University of Western Australia and has also completed his level three APA Sports Physiotherapy qualification. Will has been the physiotherapist for the Australian Schoolboys Rugby Union team and the ACT’s National Academy Physiotherapist for Tennis Australia. Will is also the personal physiotherapist to Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios. Will joins Nick on the ATP tour and has been a member of Team Kyrgios since 2015. Cale has a particular interest in sport and sports rehabilitation, having played Rugby League, Rugby Union and Cricket himself. Cale has also worked with numerous soccer clubs as a sports trainer where he developed a keen interest in sporting lower limb injuries, particularly the knee and ankle. Cale is currently the physiotherapist for the ACT Meteors Women’s Cricket Squad. - Elliot Rechtin.PhysiotherapistMasters PhysiotherapyAcupuncture/DryneedlingExercise RehabNeck RehabElliot graduated from the University of Canberra with a Master of Physiotherapy and a Graduate Certificate in Human Movement Science after completing a Bachelor of Science from Coastal Carolina University in the USA. Elliot has spent many years in the fitness industry as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S. of the NSCA, USA) and a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach through the ASCA (Australia). He brings a passion for the importance of exercise and fitness to the role of physiotherapy. Elliot is also a keen sportsman having played rugby union extensively in the USA as well as for Randwick in Sydney's eastern suburbs. Elliot was previously the physiotherapist for the St Edmunds College Rugby Union program and is currently working with the ACT School boys and girls Rugby teams. He is very passionate about youth development through sport. In his spare time Elliot does Crossfit, rides mountain bikes and enjoys running through Canberra’s bushland. He has previously worked in the sporting industry as a sports trainer and as a coach with various Rugby and Australian Football teams. He also has many years of experience working within the disability sector, providing care and therapy to a large variety of people. James has a keen interest in shoulder and neck injuries. He is also passionate about concussion management having personal experience in concussion rehabilitation. In his spare time, James is a competitive Olympic weightlifter and coach as well as a mad Collingwood supporter.
