Tyler Gamblin graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Alberta in 2012 and started his career by taking an introductory level vestibular rehabilitation course fresh out of his Masters degree. He wanted to have the tools in his toolbox to be able to treat patients with dizziness. He continued his coursework and became certified in Complete Concussion Management. Most recently he joined Lifemark in 2019 and has completed extensive coursework under the supervision of Sheelah Woodhouse, who received her Advanced Certificate in 2000 in Vestibular Rehabilitation

Hi, I’m Ashley! I have wanted to be a physiotherapist since participating in a high school internship at the local hospital and witnessing firsthand the positive impact physios can have on people’s lives. Since then, I have graduated from the University of Alberta with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) and Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT). I have always been involved in sports, and enjoy volleyball, badminton, and track and field. I love hiking and camping in the mountains and am also continually trying to improve my snowboarding skills. I’ve gained experience with a variety of patients over my time in the field, including working as the student trainer for the MacEwan women’s volleyball team, volunteering with children at the Steadward Center, and working as a kinesiologist at a physiotherapy clinic. My experience as an exercise therapist heavily influences my treatment style, as I understand the importance of movement for recovery. I like to combine a personalized exercise program with manual therapy and education for a well-rounded treatment approach for all my patients. My clinical education took me to four cities across Alberta, and my favorite experiences were in orthopedic private practice and in outpatient neurology with stroke and traumatic brain injury patients. Whether you are an athlete, weekend warrior, have a persistent injury, a neurological condition or concussion, I would be happy to join your treatment team and work with you on getting you back to your goals. Since graduating from the U of A, I have also completed additional certifications to expand my scope of practice including: Orthopaedic Division Level 1 and CCMI Complete Concussion Management. In my free time, you can usually find me taking my dog on adventures in the mountains, at the plant store, playing spikeball, or trying new local restaurants and breweries around the city.
