He graduated Summa cum laude from Central Washington University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and exercise science. He received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Elon University (Elon, NC) in 2018 as a Phi Kappa Phi candidate. Kody has particular interest in injury and disease prevention, musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment, and lifelong vitality. He is passionate about helping people of all ages be able to function and perform at their highest level. He is Washington DOH endorsed and certified in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). He is also certified as a Concussion Practitioner through Complete Concussion Management (CCMI). He has completed additional post graduate coursework in ACL specific rehabilitation, treatment of vestibular disorders, running analysis and rehabilitation, as well as rehabilitation of all major joints of the body. As a physical therapist, Kody really enjoys spending time with his patients to get to know who they really are and what drives them. This allows him to effectively provide them with the tools, treatment, and recommendations necessary to reach their goals. When not working with patients, Kody enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, mountain biking, lifting weights, hiking, skiing and running.
