Brandon Selvey, PT, DPT, CSCS, ITPT is a CCMI and ImPACT trained Physical Therapist for concussion baseline testing, post-concussion assessment, management and rehabilitation. He has advanced, specialized training and 3+ years of clinic experience in Vestibular, Balance, and Post-Concussion Rehabilitation. Using state of the art equipment including the "gold standard" NeuroCom Intl, Inc. SMART EquiTest Balance Manager for computerized dynamic posturography testing, ImPACT and CCMI protocol testing to perform pre-season baseline testing for athletes and assess post-concussive, vestibular and balance impairments, he is able to comprehensively assess his patients' deficits to specify his treatment approach and optimize their recovery. Brandon was born and raised here in Ventura. He grew up participating in athletics and continued to play football through his four years of undergraduate education at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He graduated from Pacific with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, along with a minor in Business Administration. He continued on to complete his physical therapy education recieving his Doctorate from Chapman University, and is an APTA certified clinical instructor. During his education at Chapman, Brandon emphasized orthopedic rehabilitation and injury prevention, as well as neurological rehabilitation such as concussion and fall prevention. He has work experience in several therapy settings including outpatient ortho and neuro, sports medicine, and skilled nursing. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys participating in sports like basketball, football, and disc golf. He is excited to be back in Ventura to provide the community with the highest quality of care available.
