Gippsland Osteopathy & Sports Medicine Centre has been servicing the Latrobe Valley and wider Gippsland area for over a decade now. Our Osteopath's pride themselves on the highest level of patient care. With a thorough assessment and accurate diagnosis, we will deliver a tailored approach to your presenting complaint which may include manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation both in clinic or home based to help you achieve the results you desire. We work with people from all facets of society and have helped athletes from grassroots level all the way up to the national level.

    Jordan graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Masters of Osteopathy in 2013. He has been working in and running Gippsland Osteopathy & Sports Medicine since then. He has an interest in managing and rehabilitating sporting injuries from grassroots to the professional level. He also enjoys treating anyone of all walks of life from new-borns to the elderly and working regionally gives him a great opportunity to treat a wide variety of conditions. Jordan has participated in all kinds of sports from athletics to triathlon to AFL and has had multiple concussions himself.

    Thomas completed a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University in 2023. Thomas’ interest in Osteopathy began during his junior sporting career with returning to sport from injury, he was treated by an Osteopath which developed his curiosity in how they manage pain and injuries. Thomas is passionate about helping others which can include sport related injuries, return to work and just the everyday complaint. Thomas has developed a holistic approach to treatment which not only includes the physical aspect of the patient but takes into account the mental, emotional and social aspect which has a profound impact on the outcome of an injury or complaint.

    Mitch graduated from RMIT University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Throughout his academic journey, he gained valuable clinical experience through placements at RMIT’s sports facilities, an aged care facility, and a specialized health clinic operated by the university. Before pursuing osteopathy, Mitch began his studies at Deakin University in Sports and Exercise Science. His academic path also included a semester abroad at Iowa State University in the United States, where he expanded his understanding of human movement and performance, further cultivating his passion for optimizing physical function in both active and daily settings. Mitch is committed to achieving the best health outcomes for his patients by focusing on education and collaboration. He believes that a thorough understanding of a patient’s condition, combined with a tailored treatment approach, is essential for setting effective and realistic health goals. In practice, Mitch employs a diverse range of osteopathic techniques, including (but not limited to) High-Velocity Low-Amplitude (HVLA), soft tissue massage, dry needling, and cupping. His approach is individualized, ensuring that each patient receives care specific to their needs. He has become passionate about understanding concussions due to his own personal struggles as well as witnessing them in person while playing football. Outside of the clinic, Mitch remains active by participating in the Melbourne Half Marathon and as a member of the senior playing group at the Yinnar Football and Netball Club. He is also an avid sports enthusiast with a broad knowledge of various sports worldwide and enjoys traveling and learning Spanish during his downtime.
