- Jamie Heaviside.PhysiotherapistMSc., BSc.(hons)Acupuncture/DryneedlingExercise RehabMyofascial ReleaseNeck ManipulationNeck RehabVestibular RehabJamie is an experienced physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences from Glasgow Caledonian University (2007) and a career built on working alongside some of the UK’s leading clinicians. His background spans a remarkable range of high-performance environments — from NHS orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care to the British Army, Scottish Rugby Union, Scottish Athletics, and professional ice hockey — giving him a uniquely broad clinical perspective. Driven by a genuine commitment to excellence, Jamie has invested heavily in postgraduate training across disciplines including Concussion Management, Orthopaedic Medicine, Kinetic Control, Acupuncture, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Explain Pain, Podiatry, and Myofascial Release, among others. This depth of knowledge allows him to draw on a wide toolkit when tailoring care to each individual patient. In 2015, Jamie made the move from the UK to Vancouver Island — a place that suits him perfectly. An avid outdoorsman, he embraces everything the island has to offer, with a particular passion for skiing and exploring the stunning natural landscape on his doorstep. Jamie’s clinical approach is strongly influenced by his own sporting background, which includes running, Taekwon-do, CrossFit, and Olympic weightlifting. He integrates this experience with the latest research to provide evidence-informed, individualized care, helping his patients achieve optimal health, performance, and well-being.
