Dr. Susana Sebestyen graduated from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada in 1993. She completed a double internship, one in binocular vision in Germany and one in ocular health in Canada, and as well she gained the KW most improved award. Following her graduation, she continued her studies to receive not only a duplicate certification in optometric therapeutics, but also a fellowship distinction at the Academy of Optometry. After working as an associate near her home in Oakville, Ontario, she founded her own private practice in 1993. She has not only enjoyed 30 years of primary private practice, but also added specialty services such as dry eye, vision therapy neuro-optometric rehabilitation, myopia control, and homeopathic optometry. Over the years Dr. Sebestyen has traveled to many countries, always combining holidays with her studies and clinical development. As a result, she added several degrees to her name, in order to be able to serve her patients with a holistic approach.
