Basit Adeyinka is a registered physiotherapist who believes physiotherapy is about more than treating pain, it’s about helping people trust their bodies again. At Strong Body, Basit’s approach is grounded in listening first, understanding the why behind symptoms, and building care plans that empower patients to move forward with confidence. Whether someone is recovering from injury, navigating dizziness or concussion symptoms, or trying to stay active for life, his focus is always on individualized, thoughtful care. Basit holds a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta and an Honours degree in Kinesiology from York University. He is deeply committed to evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and ongoing professional development. He values hands-on physiotherapy and skilled assessment as tools to identify the underlying contributors to pain and movement dysfunction, never relying on one-size-fits-all solutions. His clinical interests include spinal and peripheral joint pain, sports and work-related injuries, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, and complex musculoskeletal presentations. Basit has a particular passion for vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. He has completed advanced postgraduate training through the Duke–Emory–Atlanta vestibular rehabilitation program, concussion management education through CCMI, and the Concussion Nerds program led by Natasha Wilch. This advanced training supports his work with patients experiencing dizziness, balance issues, and persistent post-concussion symptoms. He believes prevention, education, and collaboration are essential components of high-quality care. Every session is built around shared decision-making, patient understanding, and long-term success, not just short-term relief. Outside the clinic, Basit is a lifelong movement enthusiast with experience in bodybuilding, running, martial arts, soccer, and basketball. His own athletic injuries shaped his path into physiotherapy and reinforced his passion for helping others continue to move, perform, and participate in what matters most to them.
