- Katie MacDonald.Social WorkerMSW, RSW, PsychotherapistWelcome and thank you for checking out my profile. Individuals are moved to pursue therapy for a variety of reasons. You may find that you are lacking in resilience, feeling "stuck" in patterns that aren’t working for you, or are enticed by the prospect of living a life aligned with your true values, but are unsure of how to get there. Whatever the reason, I am here to meet you where you’re at. I am skilled in working with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-esteem, adjustment, parenting and family issues. I also have an interest in the intersection between pain and mental health and have training in helping those with concussions manage mental health difficulties. I am experienced at helping clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours, manage difficult emotions, improve relationships in their lives and find their own motivation to make changes that are important to them. My approach is integrative, strengths-based, creative, flexible and I draw upon what best suits your needs. It takes an enormous amount of courage to ask for help and trust me with your story. I take this privilege very seriously and adopt a curious, nonjudgmental approach to exploring the issues you bring and helping you build your capacity for change. I look forward to connecting with you!
This clinic provides specialized treatment in their domain of expertise. No baseline testing or rehabilitation services available.
