Her post-graduate education and experience allows Carly to treat patients with a wide range of presentations including concussions using the CCMI protocol and more severe brain injures in collaboration with the BC Community Brain Injury Program. In addition to her clinical work, Carly is the General Manager of the Fraser and North Vancouver locations as well as the Director of Clinical Excellence. She helps mentor new physiotherapists on the KPG team as well as UBC students with an interest in paediatrics. Carly is passionate about increasing access to fun, high-quality pediatric physiotherapy and organizes learning opportunities for therapists at Kids Physio and across the country. Outside the clinic, you would likely find Carly training at CrossFit, playing one of many sports, catching up with her three sisters, cheering on the Canucks and Seahawks, traveling somewhere warm or adventuring in the mountains on her snowboard.

She is dedicated to helping people of all ages and all abilities achieve their goals, whether that's participating in an activity, reaching gross motor milestones, or returning to sport. Rachelle has experience working with children with general developmental delay, cerebral palsy, low muscle tone (hypotonia), plagiocephaly and torticollis, autism, developmental coordination disorder, Down syndrome, spinal muscular atrophy, concussion (baseline tests, injury assessments, and rehab), pre/post-surgical rehabilitation, and other pediatric musculoskeletal conditions. Rachelle has a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology (with Distinction) and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. She continues to expand her knowledge and skills in order to provide high-quality and evidence-based treatment. Outside of work you can find Rachelle exploring the west coast via hiking trail or stand up paddle board, immersing herself in a book, travelling, and spending quality time outdoors with friends and family.
