Al has been influenced by his love for sports, a dedication to continuous learning, and a genuine commitment to assisting others through physiotherapy. From a young age, Al found joy in playing rugby, surfing, and swimming, fostering a love for physical movement and activity. Having completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Sydney, Al furthered his education at the same institution, earning both a Master of Exercise and Sport Science and a Master of Physiotherapy by 2013. For the past decade, Al has called Bathurst home. His approach to patient care extends beyond mere pain relief; he prioritises promoting overall well-being and restoring optimal movement, recognising the individuality of each patient’s needs. Motivated by a genuine desire to aid his patients, Al pursued advanced education, attaining a Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from the University of South Australia in 2019. This additional qualification has broadened his capacity to address various musculoskeletal conditions, empowering his patients to regain mobility and embrace life fully, with a specific focus on treating shoulder conditions, temporomandibular disorders, and hip issues. In addition to his clinical practice, Al has provided mentoring to students at CSU students in both Physiotherapy and Exercise and Sport Science. He has worked with rugby teams such as the Bathurst Bulldogs, Central West Blue Bulls, and NSW Country Cockatoos. Beyond his professional pursuits, Al enjoys rugby, fishing, camping, and spending quality time outdoors with his wife and two young sons.
