About Us
Dr. Alex opened Peak Performance Health Centre in 2004 as a single chiropractor, bringing with him his expertise working with the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and Esporte Clube Bahia (Professional Soccer Team in Brazil). His dream was to establish a top-notch health care facility in his hometown of Cambridge that would provide his patients with the best care to keep them at their peak performance. Dr. Alex furthered his chiropractic education with courses in Anatomy, becoming an Active Release Technique provider (ART), as well as Guasha and Kinesiotape provider. He has also completed his International Chiropractic Sports Sciences Diploma and was offered an a position at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. He taught Clinical Assessments and Anatomy at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy for 10 years, and served as the Co-chair of the Cambridge and North Dumfries Doctor Recruitment Task Force, Chair of the Doctors of Tomorrow Committee, and President of the Montessori School of Cambridge Board of Directors for approximately 7 years.

He spent 10 years teaching Anatomy and Clinical Assessments at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and served as Co-chair of the Cambridge and North Dumfries Doctor Recruitment Task Force, Chair of the Doctors of Tomorrow Committee, and President of the Montessori School of Cambridge Board of Directors. He now serves his children, helping them with their sporting endeavours, doing whatever he can behind the scenes to help both of them and their chosen sports associations to succeed.
