Kerra Quinn graduated with a Masters of Science (MSc) in Physical Therapy in 2010 and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 2007 from the University of Alberta. Since then, she hit the ground running working in private practice. She has 10 years of experience treating a variety of muscle and joint injuries from “weekend warriors” and post-car accident to high-level athletes, she does it all! Kerra has a special interest in treating vertigo, dizziness, motion/visual sensitivity, and balance issues. She received advanced training in New York City and Los Angeles with the leading experts in the field of Vestibular Therapy (Inner Ear Disorders). She also has significant experience working with Post-Concussion Syndrome. Kerra is passionate about advancing her physical therapy skills in order to best serve her patients in achieving their physiotherapy goals. With the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, she has completed courses in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and received advanced training in Medical Acupuncture. Kerra is also certified through University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine program in GunnIMS (Intramuscular Stimulation). While continuing to see patients, Kerra will be pursuing her second Master’s Degree at Western University this fall 2020 in order to achieve her Fellowship in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). When Kerra’s not treating patients or studying you can usually find her in the mountains. Snowboarding is her passion in the winter while in the summer she likes a combination of hiking, cycling, running, and kayaking to keep things interesting. She has been an active member in her community volunteering as well as serving internationally in Botswana and Tanzania, as a Physical Therapist.
