I received my Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Kinesiology from York University and my Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. I have also completed postgraduate courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation, integrated dry needling, neuromobilization, and McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, and most recently Concussion testing and rehabilitation through the CCMI program. I am an integrated dry needling practitioner (CIDN), a certified concussion management practitioner (CCMI), a certified running expert health care professional and currently working towards a Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy. I treat a diverse group of patients of all ages and various fitness levels. My clients have come to me after motor-vehicle accident induced injuries, repetitive strain injuries, spinal injuries, sports injuries, and post-surgical injuries. My Kinesiology training gives me a very strong personal training and fitness background which helps me rehabilitate my clients using functional return-to-sport exercises. I have extensive experience performing functional assessments to determine your ability to return to daily routines at work and home through my SFMA level 1 certification (Selective Functional Movement Analysis). I believe that combining progressive injury specific exercises with manual therapy and dry needling along with visual and vestibular retraining (if needed) is the best combination to help you achieve your rehabilitation goals.
