Ian completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo before completing his Master’s of Physical Therapy degree. Ian’s passion for learning, continuing education, and innovation lead him to earn a Doctor of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Science. His doctoral research focused on the measurement of ballistic neck strength and the associated neck muscle activity. Ian has published components of his doctoral work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. In additional to his clinical work, Ian also holds an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) appointment in the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen's University. When not in clinic, you will find Ian on the Ultimate pitch, or on his road bike cycling around the greater Kingston area. However, Ian spends the majority of his time with the loves of his life – his wife, young daughter and son.
